The Adaptive Range Oscillator differs from traditional oscillators
in that it makes dynamic adjustments in real-time based on mathematical computations of average true range, current volatility, price action, and other factors.

There are two primary ways to trade the Adaptive Range Oscillator. One can enter a position on the initial cross over to overbought or oversold, OR can wait for the oscillator to hook back over the overbought or oversold line. The Oscillator comes with alerts for both conditions which can both be turned on and off.

Can Identify where to lace Sensible Stop Loss Orders  

Any successful trader knows that if Stop Loss Orders aren't a part of their trading plan it can be a recipe for disaster.  The question is... WHERE do you place those stop losses?   If too close to the entry the market moves against you, takes out your stop and then turns the other way and would have been a winner (some would you think that their order is so important that "someone" out there took out their stop on purpose - silly).  If too far then the losing trades eat into the profits to the point where the overall profitability of the trading method is compromised.

This indicator can be used on MINUTE, TICK, or VOLUME charts and will count down the number of seconds OR ticks remaining in a bar.

The built-in alerts can be set via input to alert the trader of any number of seconds or ticks remaining in the bar.  Alerts are not only audible but can be setup for email notification or popup window as well. This is useful especially for longer time frames.
